Brought back to life by reader request, this was pretty much my first iPhone app ever written. It allows you to run a custom shell script when clicked. The script is stored in doit.sh
You can customize by changing the name of the .app package, updating the Info.plist identifier and changing the shell script. Feel free to toss the copy of ps that comes bundled with the script for lighter-weight installation.
