Ad Hoc Helper available at App Store

For those of you devs who want to create ad hoc distributions or for users who need to send unit identifiers to apps, download this free app. Just tap on the icon. It will create an email with the relevant info. Address it, tap “send” and you’re good to go.

Once an application is purchased, I’d like it to be automatically registered on my website.

Is it possible for an App Store application to programatically obtain the name of the Apple ID that was used to purchase it? Or, are there other tools available to identify purchased applications with a user account (in a 1:1 relationship… one purchased application=one user account)) within my web app?

Man, that sounds like a major breech of privacy.

Id say its possible in a similar fashion but the other way around.. Look at how Pandora.app deals with account signup..

How were you able to pull that out? I could find out any info from the SDK docs, and it appears the sandbox prevents you from spawing processes. I was able to get the Wifi mac address, but couldn’t get the serial number or UDID. Any info would be very helpful.
