Software Updates

I’ve been hard at work all week, upgrading my software to 113. As a consequence of the iTouch’s 113 application support, I’ve decided to merge the Erica Utilities with the Erica iPhone Utilities–one less package to maintain. The new merged utilities start with Erica Utilities 0.60.
Look for 113 versions of my apps in each of this site’s folders. I’m working with Shaun Erickson to package the updated versions into Installer.
If there is something that these last few days taught me it’s that it’s probably easier to write one fabulous great package than to maintain several dozen small ones. Please forgive me if I overlooked your favorite program–an email this morning reminded me about updating Make It Mine, a utility that I had completely overlooked. I’d intended MIM as a silly throw-away and I’m surprised at how many people continue to use and enjoy it.

I see you have a VNotes beta. Is there a way to install that on a 1.1.3 Jailbroken Iphone?

Copy the downloaded file into your Applications folder and make the permissions 0755…

Thank you ajl917 that worked. However, I didn’t do anything with permissions. Not sure what application allows me to change permissions.

johnericm, I use Windows and the only program I can think of that can set permissions is WinSCP. To use that, you need to download WinSCP to your CPU, and OpenSSH to your iPhone, then through a wifi connection, you can edit your phone all you want. To set permissions, just right click on the app and change the properties/permissions to 0755. But when you install apps, you need to do that to every single file, not just the folders…

Hello Erica
Thank you for all your wonderfull applications. I am planning on donating to you. Erica, i had sendsong installed on my iphone and loved it. I updated my iphone to 1.1.3 and sendsong no longer works. It does not recognize untiled songs (which i have many) and even titled songs cannot be used as a ringtone. Do you know if this will be fixed. I am love it so much i may even downgrade my iphone.
Thank you again for all your hard work, it is really appreciated.
Pete
