Over at Blogging for Dummies, DMunsie/SmileyDude posted a simple how-to for using Celestial/UIKit to play back movies. This involved changing a single line in playaudio: [avc setLayer:[view _layer]];. A newly compiled version of Playaudio is now available.

Vibrate your phone from the command line with Pumpkin. It takes one argument, the number of seconds to run. Minimum time is 1.5 secs.

NoteIt allows you to list notes, count them, delete them, and add notes from the command line.

Listen is off-line13 Comments

Erica Sadun | 1:09 pm | January 11, 2008 | Admin, Software, iPhone

For now the Listen proof-of-concept is off-line. I applied to Gracenote a while ago for a developer license and have been waiting for them to respond. All further Listen development depends on the Gracenote licensing, who are probably off at CES and Macworld.

Beta 6 should let you know whether the server is down rather than just that it couldn’t find the song.
