Hey Erica - You are a superstar! Thank you for all your time and hard work. You make a difference!
I would like to wish you and yours, and all that visit and share this site, a safe and happy holiday season. Looking forward to the creativity of 2008!
PS The Sendfile 0.37 update rocks! Thanks for the email fix. I’m running 1.1.1 with Hachu’s MobileSafari plugin 0.2 & Netservices App. Loving it! Hackintosh forums were very tricky for plugin info, if anyone is interested: http://hyperchromatic.blogspot.com/
Erica, I have a question I “really” need answering, if you don’t mind?
Is there any way to SIM unlock an OTB 1.1.2 iPhone. I’m from Ireland, and I’ll likely be receiving my “American” iPhone this week. I was sent nearly two weeks ago now, so I’m positive it has 1.1.2 installed.
Please help!
PS, what are your personal feeling on “SonicSIM Card 1.0″, “TurboSIM” & “StealthSIM”? I’m particularly interested in “SonicSIM Card 1.0″ as it looks “the most legit”.
Happy 2008!! Given 2007, one wonders how many iPhone firmwares Apple will release in 2008!!
One quick questions about setting up your Settings Controls Application. What EXACT command string do I use to back up my /Applications/ Preferences.app/ Settings-iPhone.plist file and save it to a safe place? I’m on a Mac, using Cyberduck 2.8.2.
I enjoy the Iphone’s volume limit feature because it saves my ears while listening to music on the stock headset, but I wish that when a phone call was coming in it would automatically shut off since most calls seem to be a very low volume.
ok so heres a crazy idea, and im not sure if it will work. i wonder if you could make a program that turns the iphone into one of those super sonic hearing ear things they sell on tv, just use the headphones to listen in, like when im in class so i can hear whats going on, i dont know if its possible, bc the mic might not be strong enough, but if anyone can make it, its you! thanks for everything!
I’m sorry for posting such a request in here but it seems nice and quiet and couldn’t find a thread for suggestions for future projects. I would really love a way to addbuttons to my iPhone linking to my favorite websites. I know I could use safari bookmarks but a little app to create these on the springboard would be fantastic. I only know basic and vba, I think a far cry from writing for iPhone. Please consider for a future project. You’re the best!

Hi Erica,

Any ideas on how this could be accomplished?
