Bug Alert: Editing in Tapp and VNotes

Erica Sadun | 6:03 pm | November 4, 2007 | Bug Reports, Software, iPod touch, iPhone

I hear that as of 1.1.1, the text edits in Tapp and Vnotes are crashing. I’m on the case and will report back when I figure out what’s wrong.

Sorry, but ive been pisssed as of late.

Apple releases this 1.1.2 update and doesnt still seem to add an obvious feature.

Search.

I need search in my Contacts. a little keyboard icon or SEARCH written across the top line would fit fine. This keyboard in windowsmobile would allow me to type n search by numbers and letters.

search in iPod mode too, i mean come on this was added to the iPod line with the circle touchpad. an icon on the top left would fit right in. this is currently held by empty space because of the feature emptyless at Apple.

Erica I ask of your possibility to create a app that runs on a top layer of said running applications (iPod search and Contact Search) is this possible? if not how hard would it be to code an app that lists your songs but searchable and similar contacts app?

Hi Erica,

Talking about VNotes, I tried to use it to record a phone conversation but it crashed the iPhone. I was wondering if you are directing only the input from microphone. Is there a way to use it so that it can be used to record phone conversations?

Otherwise, could you please write something to do this? I am well aware of the legality of recording phone conversations in different countries and states. Maybe it could have options to alert the user with a tone or something. I know many phones such as SonyE t610 has this feature.

I am a designer by trade so if you need any help for the interface let me know.

I could even try to write it myself but for one I am not that experienced and I know you are one of the best out there for this.

Thanks
