What’s new with SendSong?

SendSong is still a work in progress but that work is…progressing. The latest experimental version is 0.20–although I should have a newer version out very soon. Significant changes are as follows:
- The program automatically updates Ringtones.plist from its last run state–although this is mildly annoying and/or dangerous if you’ve added custom ringtones from your Mac or PC. I am assuming that if you’re using SendSong, you’re probably not buying ringtones at the iTunes store. I hope this is a safe assumption.
- I am trying to order the list. Roxfan tipped me off that its the ordering of the keys in the Ringtones.plist file that determines whether a ringtone plays back or not. So what I do is that I keep adding ZZZZ in front of the ringtone file name until it appears *after* its spoof.
Also remember, you must reboot your phone after using SendSong or you’ll still hear Marimba.

Up until today I’ve been using SendSong 0.09 and it worked wonderfully. I updated my firmware to 1.1.1 and installed SendSong .19e and it does not seem to work at all. Every time I try to launch the app it basically crashes and returns to the iPhone home screen. Has any one seen this before, do you have any suggestions? Can I roll back to version .16? By the way Erica, you rock…

Install the BSD subsystem. You’re missing libarmfp, and it’s not just SendSong that’s going to crash under 1.1.1 until you get that installed

I installed a prior version, maybe 1.6. I could open sendsong ok, but after a while it crashed when I was scrolling down the list. I installed sendsong in my iphone using independece. I didn’t intall the BSD subsystem. Is the lack of the BSD subsystem installation the cause of that crash? Thanks!

I installed 0.20 on a unlocked 1.1.1 and ringtones and spoof files are created in the Ringtones directory but the Ringtones.plist is 0 kb - blank. Any ideas about why this is happening?
Thanks for all the amazing work.

I’ll try to see what’s going on. That’s not right, being a 0kb file
